When did this story happen?
During the Dreaming Era
What did the Father of All Spirits do?
He told the Sun Mother and told her to wake all the sleeping spirits and give them forms.
What did she do?
Plants grew where she walked and tried to relax but the FOAS told her to go into dark caves, using her light to awaken all the insects/ spirits. She tried to relax once again but the FOAS told her to use her heat to melt the ice so streams and rivers could be made. She created fish and snakes and woke up the birds and animals.
What was the last thing she did?
She wished the creatures farewell but came back soon after they started arguing so she gave the power to all the creatures to change form. However she wasn’t happy with some of their forms and gave birth to 2 children (our ancestors), the god being the morning star and the goddess being the moon.
