1. 8 degrees pitch up

Flight controls…hold firmly
Autopilot….disconnect (MSW)
Retrim airplane as necessary
Autopilot as desired.

When selecting AP on - what conditions must exist to engage?

A

Must be operational:

  • Yaw Damp
  • No faults horizontal stab
  • No significant instability (turbulence)
  • Both Flight Guidance Computers

A

Yaw damp inop - up to 31,000
