A ‘fat’ concerto: A concerto with more than one solo instrument
What is the instrumentation?
Typical of a concerto grosso:
Solo violin + 2 flutes (recorders) = Concertino
V1 + V2 + Viola = Ripieno
Cello + Bass + Harpsichord = Continuo
What is the form?
