A

A behaviour that is not typically shown within a species. It is abnormal and unusual. Eg, head shaking in dogs

  • hyper activity, could continuously run on wheel if feeling stressed
  • excessive inactivity, could continuously sleep due to lack of correct nutrition
    -Hyper aggression, could become aggressive due to a small environment or incorrect social grouping

A

Monkeys (chimpanzees) use allo-grooming to show trust and also understanding of hierarchy and the dominant male.
Allo-grooming is where an animal grooms another animal by touching or licking to form a social bond
