what did a point have to do with the big bang theory?
It is the idea that the universe began as just a single point, then expanded rapidly into an explosion of the world
and stretched to grow as large as it is right now—and it is still stretching!
what happened when the idea was first proposed:
it was rejected by many especially those religious groups of people who felt it was disrespectful towards god as it was seen as a unique bizarre idea -never been said before
didn’t make any sense at all
people logically couldn’t understand it

Most astronomers believe the Universe began in a Big Bang about 13.7 billion years ago. At that time, the entire Universe was inside a bubble that was thousands of times smaller than a pinhead. It was hotter and denser than anything we can imagine. Then it suddenly exploded forming the atoms which created the stars, planets, galaxies and today to everything in our universe from the ocean to the trees to the mountains.

parts of the points scientist give for the big bang theory were mentioned way back in the quran showing allah is the only all knowing and must be the creator for those who disagree with the theory.
allah gave us the gift of having wisdom to come up with theories on how our magnificent world works which allah created.
