Second Amendment
Right to bear arms, well regulated militia.
Third Amendment
No soldiers quartered in homes
Fourth Amendment
No search or seizure without warrant and probably cause
Fifth Amendment
No guilt without trial, can’t be tried twice, can’t be forced to self-incriminate, no seizure of private property for public use
Sixth Amendment
Right to trial by impartial jury, right to an attorney
Seventh Amendment
Guarantees jury trials in federal courts for civil cases
Eighth Amendment
No excessive bail, no excessive fines, no cruel or unusual punishment
Ninth Amendment
Other rights are protected even if not stated in the Constitution
Tenth Amendment
Powers not given to the federal government are given to states
First Amendment
Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, petition government
