What is the Bill of Rights?
The first 10 amendments to the Constitution, protecting individual freedoms.
What does the 1st Amendment protect?
Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
What does the 2nd Amendment protect?
The right to bear arms.
What does the 4th Amendment protect?
Protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
What does the 5th Amendment protect?
Due process, no double jeopardy, and no self-incrimination.
What does the 6th Amendment protect?
The right to a fair and speedy trial.
What does the 8th Amendment protect?
No cruel or unusual punishment.
What does the 10th Amendment state?
Powers not given to the federal government go to the states or the people.
