Describe phagocytosis
A
Phagocyte engulfs pathogen and encloses it into a phagosome.
Lysosomes bind to the phagosome and release lysozymes which digest the pathogen.
The phagocyte then displays the antigen on its cell surface membrane and becomes an antigen presenting cell.
