Define
Stigma - Social & Self
Stigma- a sign of social disapproval or social deficiency, often involving shame or disgrace
Social- negative attitudes and beliefs held by wider community, which may lead to exclusion, avoidance or unfair discrimination
Self- occurs when an individul accepts the negative views, leading to low self-esteem and self-confidence in their abilities
