Local gov - promoted inward investment ie: national exebition centre and expand the international airport
National gov - 1999 new deal provided broadband access and also set up work experience programmes
City council - £235 million from EU social investment scheme to improve social housing
Transport - £700 million investment into main rail station
Private developers - Selfridges shop and other Restraunt’s and retailers created 1000 jobs
