It was originally condemned but after the harsh way the British authorities dealt with it the attitudes changed

It undermined the IPP yet again and grew anti-British feeling due to the brutality of the executions and dealing with the Rising

a “Sinn Fein Rebellion”
Where were many innocent people & SF activists sent and what did it do?
Frongoch camp in Wales, radicalising these people as they were influenced by the radicals sent.
What were the rebellion leaders transformed into?
They were transformed into martyrs

What were the Lloyd George Negotiations?
Attempting to reach a settlement regarding HR although they failed due to the pressure of Unionist opposition, facilitating the rise of SF and the fall of the IPP

What was the Irish Convention?
Another Lloyd George initiative to solve the Irish question. SF boycotted. It failed and led to SF being the only winners.
