Folding pocket knives with a blade the cutting edge of which does not exceed 3 inches

Any person who has with him any sharply pointed article or any article having a blade on a school premises

If in the course of a search under this section a constable discovers a bladed or sharply pointed article or an offensive weapon he may seize it and retain it.
