Desire has led to her ruin and eventually to her death. Elysian feilds is where greek heroes went to die. She is the tragic heroine.
She wears a white fluffy bodice, white sundress as if she were going to an afternoon tea party”
Image of purity (later seen as irony), fragility and an image of the southern belle.

Irony. It’s her coping mechanism to keep the trauma of Allan’s death at bay

Stars: light imagery. The only time she runs TOWARDS light, Stella already knows who she is? Safety and acceptance from Stella?
Also a nautical image of guidance and safety. She hopes Stella will protect her and guide her to safety, which doesn’t happen.
