Improvement should be tailored to the Airmen within reason. The Airmen carry out the mission, so it is important the Airmen are recognized for good performance, given more to opportunities to TDY and given comp time for sacrificing time from their families to fulfill their obligations. A disgruntled Airmen results from not being able to see the Big Picture. There are some things leaders can't tell Airmen due to OPSEC or other reasons, but it is important to be transparent when possible.
41
What changes would you make within your section to improve efficiency?
Run realistic exercises for flight based on events in NCRIC or passed on from the ATO; more emphasis on thinking on ones' feet over physical ability; Incorporating team building activities each duty day when possible.
