- As the capacitor discharges so does the PD
-Current through the resistor decreases
(I is proportional to V)
-Rate at which charge leaves the capacitor decreases (Since I=Q/t)
-the rate of change of charge is proportional to the rate of change of PD (Since v is proportional to Q)
