Why were people refusing to approve the US Constitution
Anti-federalists were the ones refusing because it didn’t guarantee their rights.
What are some reasons why people wanted the addition of the Bill of Rights?
They wanted to have their individual rights protected and they didn’t want it to end up in a monarchy.
What is James Madison’s role with the Bill of Rights? What is the purpose of the Bill of rights?
He proposed the amendments to the Constitution, guided them through Congress, and ultimately secured their ratification. It serves to protect the fundamental rights of citizens from the government.
