Q

Talk to us about neuro protection during CPB.

A

Increase co2 content —> dilates blood vessels —> increases cerebral blood flow —> increases cerebral perfusion and oxygen delivery

Q

Talk to us about cerebral perfusion, methods of delivery, their pros and cons.

A

Methods of delivery:
ACP
RCP
