Kussmaul
faster, deep breathing w/o pause
Cheyne-Stokes Respiration
respirations that becomes faster and deeper, then slower, alternating with periods of apnea
Biot Respiration
irregular breathing w/ random pauses and variable breath volumes
Agonal Respiration
gasping, labored breathing
Apnea
breathing stops temporarily during sleep
