Standby (Similar to continuous lighting, but are not left on all night. Left on for specific situations or circumstances)

Movable (Mobile lighting that is manually operated. Used for special situations to supplement other lighting sources)

Emergency (Usually contains its own lighting source and is activated automatically when the primary lighting system fails)

Floodlights (Covers both large and small areas, varying beam widths and brightness levels)

Streetlights (diffused lights as opposed to a directional beam; can light large areas)

Fresnel lights (shine fan shaped beam of light that goes out 180 degrees horizontally and 20 degrees vertically. Best in situations where glare could be a problem in the surrounding area)

Searchlights ( Send out a highly focused beam of light that are easily aimed. Handheld models are available)
