How do you culture microorganisms?
A
- Open bunsen flame and work next to it
- Sterilise agar dish by wrapping & heating it in oven
- Sterilise inoculating loop by passing through flame
- Inoculate agar dish
- Label dish
- Seal dish with tape
- Store upside down for a few days at 25 degrees

A
So airborne bacteria don’t contaminate dish

A
Bacteria are adjusting to the environment
