The verse teaches muslims self-discipline and keeps them close contact with Allah. This gives them the strength to remain committed to living a good and purposeful life.
what does”You alone do we ask for help” teach Muslims
The verse “you alone do we ask for help” teaches Muslims that only Allah is the one who guides and protects Muslims. It further suggests that when in need, a Muslim should call upon Allah for help and guidance.

Prophet Adam
First man to be created by Allah “And we fashioned him”. As a sign of honor the inhabitants of paradise were ordered “Prostrate to Adam and they prostrated except Iblis” .All of Mankind regardless of race, gender, qualities etc , are referred to as “Children of Adam” .Unlike the Angels Adam had Free Will and is also known as “The father of mankind”
Prophet Ibrahim
Allah promised Ibrahim that from his descendants will arise future prophets and they did! Through the lineage of his son Ismael, came the Prophet Muhammed and through the lineage of Is’haaq came the Prophets Musa and Isa (there are others too). This links Prophet Ibrahim to the three monotheistic faiths, hence his honorable title. Prophet Muhammad
Most Muslims may believe that one of the reasons why Prophet Muhammed was important, was because he spoke out against racism. This is made explicit from the hadith “no Arab has superiority over a non-Arab”.

Lailat al Qadr, the Night of Power, marks the night in which the Qur’an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by Allah. Prophet Muhammad could not read but three times Jibril ordered him to ‘Iqra’ or recite Allah’s message.

Lailat al Miraj celebrates the Prophet Muhammad’s nighttime journey from Mecca to Jerusalem, where he then ascended to heaven. While sleeping in the Ka’bah, the sacred shrine of Mecca, Muhammad was visited by the archangels Jibril and Mikal. Muslims should prostrate (bow/pray) to Allah 5 times a day – Salah.
