What is institutional?
The reformation and rehabilitation of criminal offenders are held inside a correctional institution or penal establishment.
Correction
a branch of the criminal justice system concerned with the custody, supervision and rehabilitation of criminal offenders.
What is non-institutional?
The reformation and rehabilitation of criminal offenders are provided in community or outside prison.
Penology
It is the study of punishment for crime or of criminal offenders. It includes the study of control and prevention of crime through punishment.

What is a COED Institution?
