Cabin Secure checks

A
  • All PAX are seated
  • Seat belts are fastened tightly around hips (infants secured in infant seat belts on adult’s lap)
  • IFD’s distributed and parent has received a safety demonstration using pictorial steps in safety card
  • Tables are stowed
  • Armrests are down
  • Window blinds are open
  • Hatbins/overhead lockers are securely sclosed with no bottles or heavy/hard items
  • Free from all bags, jackets, loose items at emergency exit rows, aisle and bulkheads
  • Baggage may only be stowed in approved stowage’s ensuring the labelled weight limits are not exceeded
  • Laptops and larger PED’s switched off and stowed in baggage either under the seat in front or in the overhead locker
  • All items of cabin baggage must be returned to approved stowage
  • Lighting set to appropriate mode

Galley Secure checks (2.14.2)

A
  • Curtains are secured open
  • Trolleys and boxes are stowed and secured
  • Trolley brakes are on
  • All stowages are closed and secured
  • All galley surfaces are clear
  • Turn off galley equipment (where fitted)
  • Turn boilers off
  • Ensure ovens are turned off
  • All CC bags must be stowed behind the trolleys
  • Lighting is set to appropriate mode
  • Ensure all catering supplies are properly secured

Toilet Secure Checks (2.14.3)

A
  • Toilets are clear of PAX
  • PAX bags must not be placed in toilets
  • Only fire proof gash bags are permitted on the foor of the toilets (final phases of flight)
  • Close and lock toilet doors
