Q

Give a detailed response of how we use the drill to make a hole in the top of the base of our wooden toy project? Include 3 safety precautions.

A

Before drilling, ensure you position the top of your base correctly using the guidance hole you have already made using the punch and hammer. When positioned, turn on the drill and slowly rotate the handle, until it reaches the wood. Make sure the drill goes right through the wooden block, before letting go of the handle and turning the machine off.
While using the drill, make sure long hair is tied back, wear safety goggles and make sure that only one person is operating the machine at a time.
