TNM
(T)- Size of tumor.
(N)- Degree of lymph node involvement.
(M)- The presence or absence of distant metastases.
Stage 0
(in situ), noninvasive cancer.
Stage I
Involvement of a single lymph node region.
Pathological Information
Measurements taken by a pathologist after surgical removal of the tumor.
Stage IE
Involvement of a single extralymphatic organ or site.
Stage II
Involvement of two lymph node regions on the same side of the diaphragm.
Stage III
Involvement of the lymph node regions on both sides of the diaphragm.
Stage IIIs
Same as stage III with the involvement of the spleen.
Stage IV
Disease that has spread to distance sites (metastatic disease).
Clinical Information
Size of tumor on physical examination or imaging.
