What is the primary Goal of the Remarketing Department?
To find the most efficient fleet mixes for wholesale car sales and building relationships with accounts.
Their goal is to help cycle cars in and out of the fleet in order to sell (FLIP/PULL) for better resale value in which the branch directly profits. They ensure daily rental is running smoothly, that the branch has enough car but not too many.

Explain Inventory Adjustment
It’s when Remarketing/Car Sales has a buyer for a car in the branch so they pull it in order to sell. The branch makes a profit from it. The branch makes the FLIP value.
How does Remarketing increase Inventory Adjustment?

How can you assist Remarketing in Inventory Adjustment?
• Proper Check in/Check out procedure
o Truck to truck
• Mileage Awareness
o Put accurate miles on contract
o Proactively rent high mileage cars on insurance type deals to extend life of car ?
o Proactively move cars to other branches to extend life
• Vehicle Maintenance
o Follow LOFR schedule
• Review Body Shop Repairs
o Check in cars from body shops properly
o Ensure that our body shops are doing their jobs right
• Follow Group 23’s Delete Policy
o #1 find out which cars are going to take drop in value

• Before sending a car to the PULL LOT make sure:
o The car is in ready to rent condition
o Is there body damage?

o Does car have all 4 hubcaps?
o Does everything work properly? Any service lights on?
o Is there any windshield damage?
