Ventricular Fibrillation (V Fib)

A

A fluttering of the ventricles causing loss of consciousness, pulselessness, and no breathing. DEFIBRILLATE IMMEDIATELY

Pulseless Ventricular Tachycardia

A

Irritable firing of ectopic ventricular beats at a rate or 140 to 180 bpm. Overtime, this client becomes unconscious and deteriorates into v fib.

A

COMPLETE absence of electrical activity and movement of the heart. no shockable rhythym.
