Q

How Do you determine regularity?

A

Use the R-R intervals to check if the rhythm are regular if the rhythm are irregular check if there is a pattern to the irregularity

Q

How does the 6-second method calculate the rate

A

Start adjacent to a QRS complex
Mark out a six secound strip (30 big squares)
Count the number of QRS complexes in the 6 second strip
Multiple x 10
