what are the treatment for cardiogenic shock?
Increase BP
Fluids-wisely NSS lactate (isotonic)
Increase tone in tubes
Strengthen heart pump
Monitor UO
what meds are given during cardiogenic shock?
MONA
vasopressor, increase BP
Dopamine: increase pressure in heart
mechanical device to help cardiogenic shock?
IABP, LVAD
what are nurse intervention for cardiogenic shock?
monitor BP
early detection = NO MODS
use PAC to measure

increase fluids = pulmonary edema
decrease fluids = irreversible shock
