A

A measurement of the amount of air that enters the lungs per minute. The product of respiratory rate and tidal volume

What is residual volume

A

The amount of air that remains in a person’s lungs after fully exhaling.
Doctors use tests to measure this to check how well the lungs are functioning. It’s normal to have some air left in the lungs after exhaling to prevent the lungs from collapsing
