Private Care is care services that are provided to people who are willing and able to pay for them. organisations and individual practitioners who sell care services in this way are part of the Private Sector. E.g. private dentists or nurseries.

Mixed Economy of Care is a care system that combines public, private, voluntary and informal care sectors. Each of these types of care is funded in a different way, hence the term ‘Mixed Economy of Care.
