Excellent or good = 90 - 100%

How do we use the half peak level to cross check the audiogram?
Fairly flat loss: +/- 15 dB of 1000 Hz threshold
Precipitous: +/- average loss from 2000 - 4000 Hz
When should referral to an ENT be made?
- Asymmetrical SNHL of 20 dB or greater at 2 adjacent frequencies
- Asymmetrical SNHL of less than 20 dB at 2 adjacent frequencies with accompanying neurological signs
- Unilateral tinnitus
- Meniere’s symptom cluster
- Sudden sensory- neural hearing loss
