Stimulate the release of norepinephrine and dopamine from the brain and SNS.
AMPHETAMINES
Effective against partial seizures and generalized tonic-clonic seizures but not absence of seizures.

Treatment used for respiratory depression caused by drug overdose and COPD.
DOXAPRAM
Mimics inhibitory actions of GABA in the CNS and produces less sedation and less peripheral muscle weakness than dantrolene.
BACLOFEN
Stimulates Respiration
XANTHINE
Dopamine releaser
AMANTADINE
Acute management of status epilepticus
IV LORAZEPAM
BENZODIAZEPINES
Diazepam, Clonazepam, Clorazepate, Lorazepam
Is restricted to acute treatment of status epilepticus.
DIAZEPAM
Bind to a carrier protein and act at a receptor resulting in increased GABA in the brain.
GABAPENTIN
Mimics inhibitory actions of GABA in the CNS
BACLOFEN
Treatment for absence, atypical absence of seizures.
CLONAZEPAM
Used for treatment of malignant hyperthermia.
DANTROLENE SODIUM
Do not drink grapefruit juice as it can increase levels of this drug.
