A

cultures with sex and gender binaries see there as only being two of each. however sex is not binary in nature, as evidenced by intersex individuals. other cultures recognize the existence of gender ids outside of the binary such as the indig two-spirited ppl, and the hijras. more countries recognizing transgender and non binary identities on legal docs.
