Saliva
Saliva helps to moisten and soften the bolus and to break it down chemically.
Mouth
The pharynx connects the mouth and esophagus.

Now you swallow and the bolus passes into a long muscular tube called the esophagus.

A small structure in the body’s digestive system that stores bile.
Colon
The colon is the widest part of the large intestine.
Incisors
The teeth in the front of me the mouth.
Canines
The long pointy teeth next to the front teeth.
Molar
The flat teeth in the back of the month.
Digestion
Digestion breaks down food into smaller and simpler substances that your body can absorb.
