Q

Types of batteries and how they work

A

Dry cell battery: voltage difference between a single container and it’s carbon suspension rod, using current to flow between them
What cell battery: two connected plates made of different metals in conducting situation
Electrical outlets: voltage difference between the two holes of the outlet, provided by a generator at the energy company

Q

AC/DC

A

Alternating current: current that alternates or changes directions

Direct current: current the only flows in One Direction

Ex. AC: usually supplied by electric outlets
DC: usually supplied by batteries
