    stomach domain.
  • Line 26: When after taking Guizhi Tang, and having
excreted a big sweat, there is great vexation and
incessant thirst, and the pulse is big and flooding, Baihu
    Jia Renshen Tang governs.
  • Line 176: In Cold Damage, when the pulse is floating
and slippery, it means that there is heat on the surface,
and cold in the interior, Baihu Tang governs.
  • Line 181: Question: why does one get yangming disease?
Answer: if sweating is promoted, if precipitation is used,
or if urination is disinhibited, this causes the demise of
fluids, and dryness in the stomach, hence there is a shift
into yangming. No more changing of clothes, internal
fullness, and difficult defecation, are called yangming.

Q
  • Line 326: In jueyin disease, there is consumptive thirst, qi
surging upwards striking the heart, painful heat in the
heart, hunger witout desire to eat, and vomiting of
    roundworms after eating…

Line 338: In Cold Damage, when the pulse is faint and there is
reversal, at day seven or eight, the skin is cold, and the person
is agitated without periods of quiet, this indicates solid organ
reversal, not roundworm reversal. In roundworm reversal,
the person should vomit roundworms. Now the person is
still, and then has periodic vexation, which indicates cold of
the solid organs. The roundworms ascend and enter the
diaphragm, hence there is vexation,, but wait a moment and it
will cease. After eating there is retching and again vexation,
because the roundworms smell the maleodor of food. The
person often spontaneously vomits roundworms.
