what is the sensorimotor stage?
first stage of piaget, infants acquire info about about the world through motor skills; reflex responses
what is pre-operational stage
ages 2-7 second stage where children think symbolically about objects; appearance are reality to them
what is egocentrism?
pre-operational thinkers view world through their own experiences; they think everyone else sees the world how they see it
what is concrete operational stage?
ages 7-12 during this children begin to think about/understand logical operations, no longer fooled by appearances
what is formal operational stage?
12-adulthood final stage; people think abstractly/ formulate test hypotheses through deductive logic

-its till there even though you cant see it; after sensory motor
