Peace terms and their result
1.) Germany was forced to give up 13% of its land to the Allies and all its colonies: Germany’s desire to reclaim lost lands
2.) Germany was forced to give up 80% of its Navy, Air Force, and reduce its army to 100,000: Germany’s desire to be strong and great again
3.) Germany had to accept a “demilitarized zone” in the Rhineland, which is next to its industrial heartland the Ruhr: Germany evokes its right to defend itself
