What is the function of the small claims court?
It deals with consumer complaints in relation to goods and services purchased for private use from selling them in the course of the business. Claims came be made for faulty goods.

Describe the role of the labour relations comission
Promote better industrial relations. Helps with resolving industrial disputes
Picketing
Workers assemble at the entrance of the workplace and carry placards giving information about their dispute/ strike
Balloting
A secret ballot must be help before industrial action can take place. The majority must be in favour of the strike and one weeks notice must be given to the employer.

Interprets codes of practice
Investigates disputes and issues recommendations for their settlement. Established joint labour comities. Registers agreements. NOT LEGALLY BINDING.
Contract
A legally binding agreement between two or more parties that can be enforced by law
Explain any two elements of a contract
Agreement- as a result of offer and acceptance it can be made in writing, oral, and implied by conduct.
Consideration- that some value (money) must move from one party of the contract to another in exchange for goods and services

Right: the right to goods of merchantable quality, for for the pupae, be as described. Should not be faulty, Goods should do what they are supposed to do, A person providing a service should be adequately trained and use kids of merchantable quality.
Duties: of a shop should not have illegal signs up such as we will not exchange goods, should exchange goods if they are damaged if they sell you goods by a sample they should match the sample they are not allowed to give false or misleading information about a product or service.
Outline one legislative method of resolving a consumer problem
Bring the good back to the shop with your receipt and ask the person in the shop will they change the goods in a nice polite way explain your problem. Do not lose your temper.

You can claim up to €2000
