Facilities
Des where care is delivered or administered, including hospitals, long term care facilities, and treatment centers.
Payers

Assisted living

For people who need some assistance and supervision during certain hours.
Acute care
24 hour skilled care given in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers for people who require short term, immediate care for illness or injuries.
Subacute care
Given in a hospital or in a LTCF for people who needless care than for a short term illness, but more care than for a long term illness.
Outpatient care
Given for less than 24 hours, and for people who have had surgery or treatments and need short term care.
Rehabilitation
Care given by specialists. Help restore and improve function after an illness or injury.
Hospice care
For people who have approximately six months or less to live.
Health maintenance organizations (HMOs)
Require that participants use a particular doctor or group of doctors in case of emergency
Preferred provider organizations (PPOs)
Cost reducing healthcare option.

Nursing assistant performs assigned tasked, such as taking vital signs, and provides or assist with routine personal care, such as bathing, and helping with toileting. Must have at least 75 hrs of training. Observing and reporting changes in the residents condition or abilities is a very important role.
RN
Registered nurses coordinates, manages and provides skilled nursing care. This includes administering special treatments and giving medication as prescribed by a physician.
