What type of view of health does WHO provide?
holistic view
Holistic meaning
Physical, mental and social factors all contribute to an individuals well-being
What does WHO say about good health?
It isn’t necessarily being without an illness as those with an underlying condition can still have a good sense of well-being with support needed
What do the social services and well-being (wales) act 2014 do?
place legal duties on local authorities, health boards and welsh minister to work with other organisations from different sectors to promote the well-being of those in need of care
What are the 9 definitions of well-being identified by the social services and well-being (wales) act 2014?

what does the national outcomes framework contain?
- eight definitions of well-being relating to different aspects of an individuals life
