The functions to transfer a message from sender to receiver using different layers.
What is the role of the Physical Layer in the OSI model?
Concerned with transmitting data bits over a communication circuit.
What function does the Data Link Layer serve in the OSI model?
Manages the physical circuit and transforms it into an error-free circuit.
What is the primary role of the Network Layer in the OSI model?
Performs routing.
What is encapsulation in networking?
The process where the PDU at a higher level is placed inside the PDU at a lower level.
