  2. Senator or rep is contacted
  3. Bill is intro & debated in committee
  4. If bill is approved, it leaves a committee & goes to full floor of house / senate for vote.
  5. If approved, bill leaves house to the other.
  6. Goes to appropriate cmte for a vote
  7. If approved, leaves cmte to b voted on by full vote of house / senate.
  8. If approved bill goes to the president.
