What is the CSR ?

A

Corporate social responsibility - is the duty of business to act in the best interest of all those who are affected by their activities (their stakeholders) , not just their owners (their shareholders)

Examples of ethical responsibilities -
- treating people well and paying them a fair wage for their work
- providing customers with high-quality products
- minimising pollution

A

Engage in life cycle thinking (cradle to grave) - working conditions , waste production , pollution

Ask questions - where was a product made? What is it made of?

Reduce reuse and recycle

Shop local where possible - helps reduce food miles
