Population
A group of organisms f the same species that live in a specific geographical area.
Community
All the population of species that live and interact in an area.
Ecosystem
A community of organisms and their abiotic environment.
Biosphere
Is the part if earth were life exists.
Herbivore
A consumer that only eats plants.
Carnivore
Consumer that eats animals
Omnivores
Eat both plant and animals
Food chain
Is a diagram that shows how energy in food flows from one organisms to another
Food web
Is a digram that shows the feeding relationships between organism in a ecosystem.
Energy pyramid
Is a digram that shows an ecosystems loss of energy.
Caring capacity
The largest population that an environment can support at any given time
Prey
An organism that is killed and eaten by another organism
Predator
An organism that eats all or part of another organism
Symbiosis
A relationship in which two different organisms live in close association with each other.
Ecology
Is the study of the interactions of organisms wth one another and with their environment.
Mutualism
A symbiotic relationship in which both organisms benefit.
Commensalism
A symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits and the other is unaffected.
Parasitism
A symbiotic association in which one organism benefits while the other is harmed.
Coevolution
The evolution of two species that is due to mutual influence, often in a way that makes the relationship more beneficial to both species.
