it’s where George and his army had little supplies, it was cold, and women had to come and help them.

The British recognized us as a nation, borders the nation (Atlantic to Mississippi river), Spain gets Florida, the southern border is Florida.

Montgomery and Benedict Arnold met, Montgomery lost, cold conditions all around, Montgomery was killed.

The British marched towards concord and stopped at lexington, 8 colonists were shot and only 1 British was shot. Found nothing in concord.

What are nons?
Neutral people and don’t care about the loyalists or patriots.
What was the Olive Branch Petition?
The colonists sent people to try and change intolerable acts. Didn’t work and stuff gets more strict.
This agreed to boycott British goods and stop them from not importing until intolerable acts were removed
First continental congress & Non Importation agreement.
What happened at the Battle of Long Island?
The colonists get pushed into Pennsylvania and Nathan Hale is captured and killed.

Where they leave fires burning so when they try to chase Washington they move to princeton.

British get surrounded and French boats cut off supplies then they surrender
What happened at The Battle of Saratoga
Burgoyne’s plan to cut off New England so he goes for that. But, it fails because King George takes half of his men for another mission. So, they lose this battle and end up surrendering.
Montgomery takes Montreal
He thought the French Canadians would help, but they didn’t. In the end they still took the fort anyways.
What did the Stamp act do?
Taxed legal documents.
What happened after they got cannons from Fort Ticonderoga?
Put the cannons at Dorchester heights because of highground. Once the British saw them they left and went to Canada.
