  • 91K - 1 pilot must have 75hrs in type
  • 135 - No approved WX at destination or DAAP is used then 1 pilot must have at least 75 hrs in type.

A

Part 135 - Can only be released if destination weather reports or forecast are ≥ IFR landing mins at ETA.

  • METAR can be disregarded if ETE is > 1 hr

Alternate Airport Requirements
( Part 91/91K/135 )

  • Part 91- as published
  • Part 91K/135 - 1 IAP, add 400-1.
    2 straight -in suitable IAP, add 200-1/2 to higher mins
  • If destination has -FZRA, FZDZ, FZFG the Alternate can not
  • Multiple GPS approaches only count as 1

Fuel Requirements

A

Includes:
- start, taxi, APU use (TXO fuel)
- T/O, climb, cruise, descent, approach, and landing
- fuel to alternate (if required)
- 45min reserve fuel
- Ballast fuel (if required)
- Contingency fuel (XTR) 30 min or 10% of trip fuel whichever is greater.
