Your status in society depended on your importance, wealth, bloodline, education/abilities and religious beliefs

Priests and priestesses worshipped their gods in temples.
What did priests do to worship their gods?
Priests burnt incense, made offerings and held festivals for their gods
Why were animals important in Ancient Egypt?
In Ancient Egypt, animals were important because many gods were represented with bodies and heads of animals
How did ordinary people worship their gods?
Ordinary people worshipped their gods by making shrines in their homes where they made offerings and prayed.

Society means a community of people who share laws and customs
