How did conditions in Germany set the stage for ww2?
Because Germany grew bitter and humiliated by the Treaty of Versailles and burdened by heavy reparations set on him. they resented the allies treatment and longed for revenge. their economy was struggling because of the great depression and they were in need of a strong leader.

How/ in what way was Hitler’s most nefarious scheme put into action?
He told the Germans that the Jews were out to destroy the Germans. He told them that they were Capitalists who manipulated Germany for their own benefit. Hitler then used the fear and distrust that he created to turn the Germans against their Jewish neighbors.
First, the Jews were removed from positions of political and cultural leadership. Then in 1935 they were stripped of their civil rights. After 1939, Jews were forbidden to emigrate from Germany. They, and other groups Hitler didn’t like, were sent off to concentration camps, and we all know what happened there
